Question: How to tell if you have an infected scrape.?

I have a scrape on my heal and it is ll red and it has a white ball of something in the middle of the scrape.it is hot to the touch and my mom thinks it isn't infected.can you tell me if it is.?Health Question & Answer

Definitely something is wrong. Hopefully you are using peroxide or some other solutions to prevent infection. Keep it covered with a bandaid. Shoes can be irritating it more. Could be just an irritating blister but always best to make sure by asking your Dr.
