Question: My friend drank heavily three days ago and is still not feeling well. Alcohol poisoning.?
He doesn't vomit but just has general weakness. He has been drinking and eating adequately, but the illness keeps him in bed. He's also not from America so there could be major complications with the bill of the Emergency Department. What do you recommend.?Health Question & Answer

No one here can diagnose your friend.
If he has not improved by tomorrow, take him to be seen by your own personal physician.
An office visit is much less expensive than a trip to the ER.
In the meantime, make sure he is drinking plenty of water. And no alcohol.
P.S. If you phone your doctor's office as soon as they open, chances are good that they will get your friend in.
Most of the docs I work with would have no problem doing this.
