Im in college, and still, this acne thing is kind of ridiculous?!

Question: Im in college, and still, this acne thing is kind of ridiculous.?
i have had a pretty bad acne problem, but it only happens in fall/winter months. the main problem is on my cheeks, and at the top of my neck (below my ears, where the neck connects the head). PLEASE help, im out of options and it just keeps getting worse! thanks

here is what i do, which doesnt seem to work:

-when i wake up (7 AM), i use rite aid cleansing cloths which are supposed to remove dirt and oil. i then apply some non-comedogenic moisturizer,

-i get back from class around 12 and wash my face again with the same cleansing cloth. just because my face feels greasy, uncomfortable, and disgusting. i then again apply some non-comedogenic moisturizer.

-at about 9-10 PM, i shower. i apply a 5% benzoyl peroxide wash, wait for about 20 seconds, then wash it off. when i get out of the shower, i apply some more moisturizer.

-right before i got to bed, i apply a layer of retina-A-micro, sleep, and repeat the process

im not sure how much this will help me, but im going to stop picking at the acne (in the morning i dig the white stuff out so it doesnt look so bad). im also going to try and drink at least a liter more of water a day. and im in college, so its hard to eat good, but i need to find a way. thanks and please offer your advice!!Health Question & Answer

Answers:
your acne is probably not bacterial but fungal. tthat's why sun helps it. try to get nutribiotic face wash at your local health food store. also don't drink alcohol or have sugar and drink a lot of water, and eat a lot of vegetables (broccoli is your best friend). forget fruit for a while cuz it has glucose.
if it gets better, i was right...

if you get prescription medicine it will cover up the SYMPTOMS, and once you stop using it , you will have acne again. you need to change your habitsHealth Question & Answer

i heard that eating fruit helps, also try a vitamin called msm its anti inflammatory so that might help as wellHealth Question & Answer

im in college too, and my acne flairs up when i dont get enough sun. i try to lay in the tanning bed during the winter months, like 10 min every other day, or every day if i can. its not for the tan, but for the acne..the tan doenst hurt much either. and changing to another cleanser and night medicine to put on your face may help. after a while it seems the acne gets immune to the medicines, switching between 3 or 4 every few months works well too. and dont over wash ya face. 3 or 4 times a day is good, but if it gets excessive then you take all the natural oils off of your face, and your body produces extra to make up for it. getting sunburned will cause the same thing. I have similar issues. I myself am in college and suffer from bad acne. Ive learned eating mildly more vegetarian helps a lot. I know its somewhat difficult but it does work.

Next schedule an appointment with a dermatologist and ask for some prescriptions i have found to work.

1) An oral medication called Bactrum or Adoxa. Both worked really well for me.

2) also ask about a topical product called Differin (After awhile it really helps with the oil)

3) Lastly ask for a prescription cleanser called Triaz which is 9% Benzoyl Peroxide wash. (the stuff kicks ***!)

The only problems are that you need to make sure you don't dry out your skin with the wash so use a moisturizer. And avoid taking the medication and exposing yourself to direct sunlight for long periods of time. (makes you sunburn easier)
