Answers:
you have a cold, not mono.

mono cannot be treated with any prescription drug - there is no treatment for mononucleosis if you get it. you get better on your own.

sure, you can transmit EBV by sharing drinks, so use your own cup.Health Question & Answer

The main symptoms for mono (glandular fever) are fever (no surprise there!), swollen lymph nodes (particular in the neck & armpits), sorethroat, and muscle & mental fatigue. You can sometimes get a rash, cough, runny nose, and other symptoms as well, but none of these are too specific.

There is no specific treatment for mono - it's all symptomatic relief, and acetaminophen is as good as any other thing for fever & sore throat. So yes, you don't need any prescription meds.

Mono is transmitted by saliva, hence the nickname of 'kissing disease'. Sharing food & drinks is definitely a route by which it can be contracted.Health Question & Answer

yes its done by kissing, sharing drinks. but it might just be a cold the symptoms kick in a month or two after. just try so advil or motrin, let the cold run its course if it is a cold. if it continues call me. or your doctor. i know first hand i have had mono from god.
bless you,
