I have a rash that I think is psoriasis or eczema...?!

Question: I have a rash that I think is psoriasis or eczema....?
It developed on my wrist after some Lava soap got stuck under my watchband. I have kept the watch off for more than 2 weeks now, and my rash has gotten better, then worse, then better. Now it's getting colder outside and my rash is even worse, very red and it's gotten bigger. I tried putting some regular OTC lotion on it but that only irritated it more. I can't go to a doctor for this...does anyone have any recommendations.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
psoriasis or eczema usually is red itchy and scaly, whereas hives are more like mosquito bites. If there was any dirt or bacteria in the area it is possible that you have gotten impetigo which is itchy red and looks like blisters, and is highly contagious. Try getting some benadryl cream and capsules this should give you some relief. If it doesn't clear up you will have to figure out some way to see a doctor, try looking for a county run clinic if you are not going to the doctor because you can't afford it.

A lot of skin conditions can be caused by an autoimmune malfunction and can only properly treat by a doctor.Health Question & Answer
