Question: I may have herpes, are they bad, whats the side-effects. must i get them checked out.?
Answers:
1 in 3 people have herpes - so relax a little!
I consider it a recurring contagious zit

I've had it since I was 16yo (from my1st) and it's been a part of every sexual relationship I've ever had...
In that time I've been married 3 times and had 3 beautiful healthy children...so it's just a side-note in my life.
It's something I mention early in the relationship(s) and then we move forward from there.
Most people I've told either knew enough about it to not be afraid, had been in a relationship with someone else who had it, or already had it also...so it was never a big deal at allHealth Question & Answer

I think you may mean symptoms herpes doesn't really have side affects besides painful out breaks.
Common symptoms for genital herpes are:
Swollen genitals.
Flu like symptoms.
Itching and or, burning and or, tingling sensations under the skin of the genitals or around where the out break is.
Raised fluid filled blisters, open sores or cut like things appear on the genitals.
Common symptoms for oral herpes:
Itching and or, burning and or, tingling sensations under the skin of the lips. Usually at one spot around the mouth.
Dry chapped skin usually at one spot around the mouth.
A small pimply or blistery thing appears where the above symptoms are taking place. That can break out into a larger cut, blister or sore usually around the mouth.
I have oral and genital herpes and these are some symptoms that I get when I think I'm getting an out break of either type of herpes.
If any of those symptoms sound familiar then get yourself tested for herpes at your doctor or at a local clinic.
Health Question & Answer

Just so you know...
You can get herpes VERY easily! If you or your partner have even sores in your mouth and then you give eachother oral. Bam you can get herpies.
Another way is that you dont use protection. I know thats one of the biggest ones you have heard since you were like 13 but it is SOOOOO true because the thing with herpies is that your partner might not even know he has it. Some people never have outbreaks but yet pass it to others. Go to the doctor and get blood work done. That way you know what you should be doing. And blood work is the best way to tell. Because if you are not having a break out then it will still show up in bloodHealth Question & Answer

ooops. yeah herpes is only complicated by the fact that its incurable..at least so far anyway!! You need professional IMMEDIATE help for that one...not yahoo answers. Maybe some anti-viral medicines can help. Do realize that this is easily transmitted to other people. Health Question & Answer
