There are so many new methods of treating the HIV virus now that AIDS is a lot less deadly that it used to be.
The most dangerous STD out there right now is Viral Hepatitis. There are strains of it running from A thru G, and beyond. Hepatitis is 100 times more contagious than HIV, It's also more destructive, just as deadly, and is spreading like wild fire.

Nowadays people can live a normal life with present day treaments they are coming out with less significant side effects. That is not to say people don't die from AIDS as there is still much misunderstanding about it. Some the the STD's can be cured. Some are forever. AIDS is a death sentance. Hepatitis C can be a death sentance. If you are a carrier of Hep B, you run the risk of dying from it. The others, if not treated, can lead to blindness, infertility, and death.
