I have herpes questions plz help?!

Question: I have herpes questions plz help.?
i have had unprotected sex with someone who is herpes 2 positive. She has had no outbreaks in over a year and no signs of it when we did it. but couple days later i went to the gym and i did some stretching and i was playing b-ball really hard for a couple days. so when i came home i had a swollen pain in my right lymph node area. but within 1 or 2 days it went away. Then there was a discomfort between my legs in the same area that basically felt like jock itch then was not any redness or bumps in the area and ive been cleaning it really good and putting bacitracin ointment on it and the discomfort is basically gone but i know these are all still symptoms. I know its a gamble with herpes 2 and i don't not know what to do. we had sex over 2 weeks ago and these are the symptoms that i had and i don't if i should go get a blood test because the antibodies might not be there yet to get a positive ID on it. i really could use some help. any advice.?Health Question & Answer

Go to your nearest clinic -- it can also be syphilis, too. There is a cure for syphilis, but only treatment for herpes. It's possible to also have herpes even if it doesn't show or you don't have any signs -- it becomes latent. You should go get it checked ASAP with a doctor and they'll tell you exactly what to do. And use protection next time.Health Question & Answer

There is only one way I know of to get rid of the herpes 2 virus you are describing. It takes about 3 treatments with a Q-laser that is now being used in Europe extensively for many issues like this. America is way behind Europe in many ways and we are led to believe the opposite. Endoctrination in America is rampant and education has fallen to it's lowest ebb due to greed and avarice. Drug companies will gladly take your money and doctors will make lots of money on this problem. You can solve this problem for both you and your girlfriend, but not with "modern medicine" that is really "make believe health."

What were you thinking.? Sex with someone who has herpes.?

First, take a deep breath. There are probably a hundred reasons why you have those symptoms. Playing basketball-sweating can build up bacteria and yeast on your skin just like jock itch. You can get it anywhere on your body. The discomfort could also be from anything. Usually you'll feel a tingling sensation and start to notice blisters. You may not even notice. Best thing to do would be to get an appointment with your doctor and get an STD test done. This will put your mind at ease so you won't be worrying.

Don't listen to the first poster. There is absolutely no way to get rid of herpes. It's a virus. It lives in your spine. Once you have it, you can control the symptoms to a degree, but you can't get rid of it.

No, there's probably no point in going to get a blood test now. I had two outbreaks before my first blood test and it still came up negative. Antibodies can take up to six months after your first outbreak (not just exposure) to show up in your blood stream.

I'd recommend not having unprotected sex with anyone for the next few months. also, keep in mind that herpes can be passed even using a condom, because the virus sheds throughout the entire boxer shorts area when it is active. It's a good idea to both use a condom and wear boxers if you're going to engage in intercourse.
