can a child of 13 years have only 1 lice in his head.? i know a person who he found only 1 lice in his head and he checked it with a special comb and he didnt found... so the quetion is can someone contain only 1 lice in his head.?Health Question & Answer

And yes, it's possible. It may have only just dropped on there and not had time to lay any eggs. It means a person he was near has them though. He shouldn't be checking his own head though...he'll never get them out that way...he'll have to get another person to check for him.

probably not...I wouldn't worry about finding more lice, its the nits (eggs) that are the worry. use the comb and if you find anything greyish-white, that is not easy to comb out and stuck to the hair shaft you should consider the shampoos. there are some natural ones, im not exactly sure bt i think its a type of oil. ask your pharmacist, its best to use the natural ones first before going to a harsh chemical, as they are VERY harsh on the scalp. It's hard to believe they found only 1 louse. Lice are incredibly contagious and tiny. So, to have only seen 1 is hard to believe. To me I don't know that I would have felt it or had a reason to check around with a pencil tip. It was probably a flee, dandruff, lint, but I doubt it was a parasite. Then again teenagers have better cleaning habits and he could have taken care of it just in time.Health Question & Answer
lice is so small, they lay many eggs that can barley be seen with the naked eye. It is very unlikely to have one lice in your hair, because they produce so quickly. Your friend may have thought that he only had one lice but it takes several tries to get it all out and it is still not guaranteed to be all gone. Health Question & Answer
LOL. Ya it could be possible. Well it could be already pregnant and needed a change of head to lay eggs. So might ve migrated to his head hehe. But dont worry u can clean it. Keep combing with a thin hair comb after applying oil. Or use Medikar its lice killin shampoo....dont know whether its available there.......
