You may feel like you have no energy, feel jittery, etc. It depends on which type you have. With type 1 diabetes, the body doesn't secrete insulin (which helps the body absorb sugar) or it secretes too little. Type II diabetes have insulin resistance commonly due to obesity. So the overall problem is the body has a hard time absorbing sugar. Sugar is necessary for brain function, and brain function is necessary for everything! Health Question & Answer
