Don't take expired medications, it can be dangerous, and they won't work!! I once took some Tylenol when it was expired, and it didn't help at all. Plus, any antibiotics won't help because you have a cold, and a cold is a virus. Antibiotics are for bacteria.
To help your cold: Try some Vick's NyQuil or Vick's NyQuil. Vick's products are really good and work great!

#1: You do not take ANY drugs unless it has been prescribed to you for a reason.
#2: Throw that medication away, it is expired.Would you eat chicken that has been laying around for a few weeks.? why would you take meds that have expired 3 weeks ago.?
#3: Rhino virus (common cold) and influenza virus (flu) are viruses.No bacteria.

Your Amoxicillin is well past expiration-toss it, If what you are ailing from is truly a cold or flu, antibiotics would be ineffective- they are viral. Get some OTC cold and flu medicine and let it run its course.Health Question & Answer
