I get the same thing I understand that it's REALLY annoying. I've been on prescription medication -both topical and oral- for almost four/five years when I was in 6th grade >.<, have tried EVERYthing like Murad and Proactive and all of that, even lazer treatment, ouch!

Well, once side of my family has really bad acne and skin problems and unfortunately I was the one who inherited that bad gene. I don't know how serious your acne is, so there's not much I can say. If it's just a few minor acne flareups only around your period, maybe you can ask if you get a doctor to prescribe you a very mild topical creme for your skin like clindamycin phosphate topical gel 1% strength. It's what I first started out with and just something your put on affected areas before you go to bed. ^___^

If it's worse or you'd like to REALLY improve your skin-only if it gets like reeeaally bad- then I'd recommend my current regiment of BenzaClin for morning, Tazoroc and Doxycycline Hyclate tablets for night; with teh Doxycycline a pill that you have to actually swallow. That works great for me right now and I'm glad to be enjoying better skin. Yeah, sorry for all the medicine name gibberish, I've just become an expert on acne skin care. ^^;

These are simply suggestions if you really want to take serious action for your skin. A doctor/dermatologist is of course the best source. And for things to be better, maybe try taking your acne cream every day so that your skin can adjust better and be more consistent against stopping acne flareups. I've noticed that every time I either start up a new medication or restart one that I forgot to take, the acne almost always gets worse for like 2-3 days before it gets better. Which is why it's a good idea to be consistent with your regiment.

Other Tips: 1. Make sure you always have a moisturizer that has a tad of sunscreen, yes even in Winter. Because using ANY type of acne cream, even store bought, makes your skin drier and more prone to sun damage.
2. Use those oil observing pads, they help control oil in preventing more breakouts.

Sorry if this went WAAAAAY too in-depth in what you were hoping for, but I hoped it helped none the less.

I don't have acne, but hey, I wanna look after my skin :)

Heres how to get rid of acne -

-Drink 8 glasses of water a day
-Wet your face, loosely place grains of salt on top and scrub gently using your fingers to exfoliate and kill germs :)
-Dab lemon juice over particularly big pimples/blemishes
-Get 1 table spoon of baking soda and add water to make a thick paste, leave this paste on for 30 minutes then wash off with warm water (it stings, so when it does don't be alarmed)
-Finish off with a GOOD moisturizer because doing all this will dry your skin out.

Drinking water is the most important thing in this list, so drink!!!Health Question & Answer
