What Kind of Illness Do You Think This Is?!

Question: What Kind of Illness Do You Think This Is.?
For the last four days or so i have had some symptoms and I am not exactly sure what it points to. It started last sunday with a slightly sore throat. That went away after about a day. Then on monday, tuesday, and wednesday i sort of had a stuffed up nose and a cough. It peaked probably tuesday. Then yesterday and today, i have felt alright, besides some very mild nausea and sinus pressure, that fade in and out. I have also been some what lethargic. I haven't really felt full blow "sick" but I have felt somewhat crappy. The worst was probably tuesday but some things are still lingering.

Normally i would just say a cold but that doesn't explain the nausea. And it doesn't seem like the flu since i have had no aches and no fever.

Any ideas.?Health Question & Answer

It's probably sinusitis... The drainage from your nose may be running down your throat(it's called a postnasal drip) and into your stomach...this would account for both the sore throat and the nausea that you're experiencing..

It definitely sounds like common cold. I remember having it before and I felt kinda nauseous. Stomach pain isn't normally a symptom of common cold but somehow the disease seems to be able to stimulate the vomit circuit. Health Question & Answer

The sore throat on day 1 indicates a cold. I agree with the others that post nasal drip caused the nausea. It takes a full 2 weeks to get over a cold according to my doctor.Health Question & Answer

I think it is sinusitis too.Health Question & Answer
