How long does it take for burning to kill you?!

Question: How long does it take for burning to kill you.?
if your being burnt, how long does it take for you to die.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
well after about two minutes if your not dead or out cold your nervous system would start to missfire (convulsions) however after two minutes of being on fire its likly you have passed out from smoke inhalation or gone into shock so after the first two minutes it really doesnt matter that much, you have already been through the bulk of the pain so lay down and die.Health Question & Answer

it depends if you mean from smoke inhalation, or by losing body mass from your flesh being deteriorated. if you're reffering to loss of body mass it depends greatly on the intesity of the fire. if the heat is intense and a good portion of your body is involved-a matter of minutes (too long if you ask me) if it's not an intense fire and less surface area of your body is involved you could be laid up in a hospital for days, weeks, months before you die from complications. Health Question & Answer

A while, that's why it was considered a form of torture and execution. You'd have to wait until the heat damages your heart or brain beyond operational status.Health Question & Answer

It freaks me out that you're asking a question like this,
