Do/can antibiotics permanently clear up acne, and if so...?!

Question: Do/can antibiotics permanently clear up acne, and if so....?
must they also be taken for long periods of time non-stop.? Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Yes certain antibiotics such as Doxycycline, tetracycline, etc, can clear up your acne. I took dorx (doxycycline) for about 6months and it did clear me up but, my acne did return.
It all depends on the person. Some people can take antibiotics and never breakout. However, there are others, that can relapse and they need to go on stronger medication such as accutane.
Consult your dermatologist.
