Is it possible to have hypothyroidism without a slow heart rate or low blood pressure?!

Question: Is it possible to have hypothyroidism without a slow heart rate or low blood pressure.?
Question says it all, I'm a bit confused, apparently I have hypothyroidism (according to blood tests and endocrinologist) which is the cause of my previous weight gain and lack of energy - yet, previously, my heart rate and blood pressure have been fine, if not above average, anyone got a clue.? How would they have known to order blood tests without these typical signs.? Any other thyroid disorders that could cause this, maybe I heard wrong, but hyperthyroidism causes weight loss. Any insight before my next appointment is greatly appreciated.Health Question & Answer
