Help needed for someone in depression. Is there any such site ......?!
Question: Help needed for someone in depression. Is there any such site .......?
Is there any such site where someone chats with a person suffering from depression who needs someone to talk (chat) to when he/she feels lonely and has none else around whom he/she feels comfortable to talk to.?
If there's any such site, pls let me know. Thanks.
P.S.: I need only the names of sites providing this kind of service, if there're any, and no telephone lines or some organization or psychiatrist. All that's not needed.Health Question & Answer

There are a lot of very helpful forums and chat rooms for depression. Here's a few sites that offer this support, but I'm sure you could find even more if you searched under "depression forums" or "depression chat"...

I don't know of any sites with the possible exception of Web M.D. but I know a wonderful book written by David Burns, M.D. called Feeling Good. It provides useful, hands-on material to beat depression and to understand how our cognitions (thoughts) control our self-esteem. A poor self-esteem is at the root of depression and Dr. Burns can walk you right out of it. =)Health Question & Answer
