I am 23 y/o and when ever I write i have to stop and stretch my hands or if I'm cleaning it feels very sore after a while.Health Question & Answer

Even small children can get arthritis, however you probably strained your tendon. That sometimes takes a long time to get better. The daily activities like you described can actually continue the problem longer. I injured mine at work in July and are still battling with the the pains. Writing is the worst! It also hurts to over extend my arm (like reaching to far for things). Try taking it easy for awhile and limit things that aggravate it. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

Arthritis is very uncommon in someone at your age. Your hand are probably just sore from doing work.

Or maybe you have a bone infection.

i was diagnosed with arthritis when i was 8. a doctor can tell from a blood test. you could also have carpal tunnel syndrome, or tendinitis- they all feel about the same- your doctor can diagnose it.Health Question & Answer
