I have a cold. My nose is a little stuffy, I can't hear very well out of my ears. When i cough my throat is sometimes sore, and i get continuous coughing until some thick fluid comes up my throat.. Is there anything i can do to get rid of all these problem.? It's really starting to annoy me and my family. I want it gone by christmas, anyone know any good remedies.?Health Question & Answer

I'm not an herbalist, but I do know something can work. I try and find options that aren't always linked to taking something...and only take something when I absolutely HAVE TO! Get to a local drugstore and/or place like GNC or Vitamin World. Get some Tea Tree Oil (if your Wal-Mart carries it, that's great too!). It can range between 6-9 dollars for a bottle...but worth it because it lasts!
Put a few drops in a boiling hot cup of water and just breathe it in. Yes, it'll feel a little burn-y and your eyes will probably water, but Tea Tree Oil is anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and anti-fungal. And, if you can stand it, after brushing your teeth, put a little on your toothbrush and 're-brush'. Most say you cannot ingest it, but I was told that in EXTREME small amounts (i.e. it being left in your mouth) will not harm you. I do this with myself and my kids and so far, no colds!
Within a day or so, you should feel much better, without having to have put meds in your body!Health Question & Answer

Hmm sounds similar what I've had try Mucinex D, should deal with most that stuff (D stands for decongestant), For the sore throat take tylonol and gargle salt water, if you have trouble sleeping get some cough syrupHealth Question & Answer
