Sounds like a cold. Four colds in a year isn't too bad. Don't worry too much about the mucus, it generally turns yellow sometime during the end of the cold.
It's something worse, if you get high fever, lots of swollen glands and a sore throat that doesn't get better in 3 days. also if could be something worse if you have a cough, fever and difficulty breathing. That might suggest the possibility of pneumonia.Health Question & Answer

treat your symptoms, rest, drink lotsa water, use a nasal rinse, wash your hands better, and realize that the "common cold" really is common. see your doctor if the symptoms persist greater than 2 weeks.Health Question & Answer
Just a cold. If it was something bad, you'd have yellow colored mucus. Take some Tylenol cold or something for multiple symptoms for congestion, cough, sore throat and stuffy nose. Rest, relax and have some soup!Health Question & Answer
