It all depends on your pain tolerance.. I didn't get mine done professionally a friend of mine that does piercings did it for me.. But it took a long time to get it through so it did sting a little but not too bad.. If you go to a shop it's really quick.. I've heard from some people it hurts like hell and others say it didn't hurt at all.. But I have had 5 piercings and only 2 were in my ears and my ears hurt more then my belly button.. of course, there is no mutilation of the body parts that not painful even clinical ones are very painful.. And by doing that you are exposing your body to infection.. you don't need to do that just because everybody is doing it.. you are still young..

I had my belly button pierced when I was 14 and I am 22 now.. It did not hurt except for maybe a minute while the needle was going through.. It's not bad at all as long as you keep it clean and it doesn't get infected..Health Question & Answer
