I'm 20 and I'm getting my braces put on July 1 and I'm getting the clear braces so that they don't affect me and look so bad when I'm applying for grown up jobs (I graduate college next May)..

I don't know if you are talking about invisiline or the ceramic braces that use wires when you say invisible.. If you are talking about the clear braces they are not really worth it and you should just go ahead and get metal ones..
The ceramic braces will discolor with food and drink and you still get to wear them for two years so you walk around with ugly yellow blobs on your teeth.. There is also still a silver wire so people still know you have braces..Health Question & Answer

first of all: are the invisable ones ceramic.? if so, GET THEM! they are so good! just brush your elastics with mouthwash after every meal so that the ligs don't stain, and you'll be fine.. the ligs stain, not the braces.. metal are generally more accepted, but no one really notices with ceramic.. if the invisable ones are invisaign: get them too! they're great, and are so easy to take care of.. good luck!Health Question & Answer
