Baking soda added tooth paste?!
Question: Baking soda added tooth paste.?
I've came across with this tooth paste that says that baking soda is in it.. But it doesn't say anything like 'it whitens your teeth'.. My question is: Will that help to whiten your teeth.? And how long would it take for results to show.?Health Question & Answer

Anything with baking soda in it will help whiten.. Baking soda is a cleaner/nuetralizer so it helps clean in the tough spots and is also an abrasive.. As for how long it takes to work it shouldn't take more than a week or two.. However it isn't that strong of a whitener.. To see the best results you might want to use the whitening strips as well as the baking soda toothpaste.. The strips can jumpstart the whitening process and the baking soda can keep them white once you've got to the shade you want..Health Question & Answer
baking soda is a modified ingredient for whitening..
However , it does abrade the tooth surface, as to much of a good thing is bad..
So don't OD on it..........
