I have holes in my mouth!?!


Question: I have holes in my mouth!.?
when i drink water it hurts to swallow..
so i put my finger in my mouth to see what it was, and its in front of the dangly thing but to the side, behind this little fold/flap..
there is one on the other side but it doesn't hurt..
i got my tonsils out when i was young, maybe its where my tonsils were hooked.. im not sure, i don't know where tonsils are..
but only the left one hurts..
i wish i could be more detailed but i mean i have no clue what im talking about..
im just here for help..
what are the holes.?
are they normal.?

I know exactly what you are talking about and I just assumed everyone had them because I have them also.. Every once in a while, when my allergies, or sinuses are acting up, mine will hurt, or be sore.. If you have something like Benadryl, or actifed, take that and then you could also take an advil to help with the pain.. Sometimes I will even rinse/gargle with a little warm salt water..Health Question & Answer

i think wat u r talking about r the opening of the sinuses in ur mouth, it is conected to the nose it's where mucus from ur nose drains out of and then it goes into the mouth/throat.... And the two holes on the side r like where the tonsils come from..
U probably just have a sore throat and should drink tea, eat soup and try taking a cough drop.. Usually when it hurts to swallow u have bad allergies or u have strep throat in which case u need to see a doctor..Health Question & Answer
