First visit is just a consultation - question and answers (30 minutes).. The second visit they will make a mold of your teeth (30 minutes).. On the third visit they will put in the braces.. ( hour and half up to two hours)..Health Question & Answer
I'd say probably about three or four.. The first visit is mostly just talking and that non sense.. They also might take pictures, x-rays and such.. If they don't do that in the first visit, it will be the second.. The next time you go, you will have to get theses little rubber things, called spacers.. In my opinion, i thought those were the worst part of getting braces.. Your spacers will stay in for about a week and then when you go back, you will be getting your braces.. Your first appointment should probably be about a half hour or forty five minutes..Health Question & Answer
I had my braces put on last tuesday.. I think I had 3 appointments that spanned over a month before I actually got the braces put on.. First was, I had to go in and they took x-rays, pictures and impressions of my teeth.. Then I had to wait about 3 weeks for the impressions to come back (my Ortho sends them off to have done) Then I came back for another consult where I sat down with the Ortho and he showed me the pics they took, and the impressions and we talked about how long I'd need to wear them, and how much it'll cost.. I then made an appt.. to get the spacers put in, these are little bands that go b/t your back molars to make room for the metal bands that help hold the wire in place.. I had to wear those for a week, and my next appt.. was to have them put on..

ok it all depends on your problem..
First the doctor is gonna check if you have any cavities
and if you do well depends how many you have is the amount of time he's gonna take fixing them
Then you might only need braces on top or on the bottom or both so maybe about 1-2 visits it all depends on your problemHealth Question & Answer
