Question: Had white spot on gums, now gone.. now bone is poking through.. very sore.. no money for dentist.. what to do.?
Answers:
SORRY, but THERE IS BONE UNDER YOUR GUMS, not cartilage.. If you had cartilage under your gums when you ate something hard, you couldn't be able to bite through it, as cartilage would bend (like your ears and nose).. It is possible for the bone to be coming through (I've seen it before).. You could try to go to a dental school.. They usually provide dental care at reasonable rates.. also, I know that in Florida we have some charity events on the weekends where dentists, dental assistants, and dental hygienists volunteer to help people who can't afford dental work.. I found out about that through church.. But you really do need to get it checked out.. If you have necrotic tissue, you need to get it taken care of before it spreads.. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

I don't know where you live, but where I live there are places like the Salvation Army who do dental work-ups for little or nothing, or they will set up a payment plan.. If you call your local dentist, and tell them the situation and ask them to refer you somewhere they are usually more than willing to give you the name of a low cost agency who can help you.. Otherwise if you are not comfortable doing that, call the Human Services department of your city hall, and ask about financial help options.. Good luck! There are a lot of resources out there for people, you just have to dig sometimes!Health Question & Answer

depending on what state you're in, you can get state covered insurance or you may qualify for the federal stuff like Medicare/Medicaid............and it usually gives you emergency dental, which includes bones protruding (you need to get that fixed, love)..

does your job have benefits.? if so, see about getting some kind of emergency "flex spending account" where they front you the funds to get it fixed then they take it out of your check later..

are you a student.? there's tons of dental and medical programs for students.. check it out thru your student services center..

or join the military.. they've got great benefits that start on day one..

seriously - get that fixed.. that's just nasty.. plus if it gets infected (or it might already be) then you could lose a whole mouth of teeth.. don't sit on your butt about this one..Health Question & Answer

most probably u have what we dentists call ( a sinus tract).. which is basically an infection caused by an adjacent tooth that is so severe to the extent it makes a channel through bone and then comes out into the mouth.. u definately need to see a dentist before the case worsens.. try some of the suggestions of going to charity dental events or a dental school for treatment.. but u should take care of the problem urgently..Health Question & Answer

Yes I agree with Nikita......I had a similar problem and I did not consult the doctor that time......Later I started having dreams like my teeth is going to fall......That was really weired........

I will suggest the same to that you better consult a good dentist at this earliest stage.. If you don't have money, borrow it from somewhere..Health Question & Answer

You must be really worried.. There may be some dentists who offer their services free or at a sliding scale.. You should really check around.. Maybe there is a public hospital that could refer you.. If there are social services in your area, they might be able to get you pointed in the right direction.. Don't let lack of money stop you.. There is help out there for you..Health Question & Answer

there is no bone there........only cartiledge..
you may have some sort of mouth disease that is dissolving your tissue.. see a docter, could be serious and is worth the money if it can save your life right.?Health Question & Answer

Seeing a dentist at a government hospital at least is necessary.. In the meantime, try rubbing in some clove oil to medicate the gums..Health Question & Answer

You may have an impacted tooth there.. You must see a dentist or it'll grow out awkwardly..Health Question & Answer
