Question: How bad of an overbite is this.?
my upper jaw extends over my lower teeth about half way and when i open my mouth my jaw makes a weird popping sound.. can i fix this or can i fix it .? & does this require braces .?

The popping sound is just a tightening of the tendons holding your jaw together.. chew gum for a while everyday to loosen the tendons, and the sound should go away.. About the overbite, it is only a problem if you have a problem with it.. If you feel it is too big, go see a dentist/orthodontist and get a professional opinionHealth Question & Answer
