Just add all the answers you have gotten together and no matter how you shake them out it ends up that you either take a nap during the procedure or you get an injection in the back of the jaw and your awake during the extraction......Fact is, they both work well, but going to sleep is usually used on patients who are emotional or the extraction is going to be a difficult one surgically......Health Question & Answer
