Can I still go swimming with braces?!


Question: Can I still go swimming with braces.?
I got braces yesterday and have been invited to go swimming, as I am learning about what I can and can't do, do you think that I can go swimming.?Health Question & Answer

There is very little you can't do with braces.. Swimming is one of them, braces do not rust or they would just by being in your mouth all day..
The only things you can't do (although you can try) are things like eating corn on the cob or apples and other fruit unless you cut it into pieces..

You can pretty much do everything you did before you had them.. except eat certain stuff, they hardly changed anything for me...... so you can definitely go swimming:) don't forget to floss! (trust me it hurts when they get taken off if you don't!)Health Question & Answer

Yeah definitely.. You can do everything except eat an apple and boiled sweets.. At least, my daughter did and her teeth are beautifull straight now..
