Bad clove taste of dry socket dressing?!
Question: Bad clove taste of dry socket dressing.?
I had four wisdom teeth extracted a week ago and went back today to have a dry socket treated.. The pain is entirely gone, and I am incredibly grateful, but now I have this wretched clove taste in my mouth from the medicated dressing..
I know it's probably normal and part of the healing process, but is there anything- ANYTHING- I can do that will combat that wretched taste.? Or does anyone know how long it will last.?
also, do any of the old wisdom teeth rules apply.? Am I not allowed to use straws again.? Should I go back to liquids.? I'm really worried about disrupting the dressing..Health Question & Answer
