Invisalign does blend in with your teeth, but it changes the way you talk and I cannot imagine trying to sing with it in.. also, it makes your mouth feel really gross because there is a layer of saliva between your teeth and the plastic.. I have a friend with braces who is involved in musical theater and what she got was metal braces with clear plastic brackets attached to her teeth instead of colored ones.. It looks pretty good, but it's more expensive..Health Question & Answer

It all depends on what YOU want.. If you think silver is the way 2 go, get silver.. Invisilain (dont know how 2 spell it) is way more expensive.. On the other hand, regular braces are just as expensive.. If you like colors, maybe regular braces will be right for you, considering invisalign doesnt have colors cuz its invisible.. I'm getting braces in 2 days and they are going to be ruby colared.. I hope everything goes great with you!Health Question & Answer

Invisiline only works if you have minor cases..

They take longer, and they're more annoying, and hurt just as much, except its slower, so it'll hurt you more across a longer span of times..

Just go for metal braces.. When i had them, they were painless (well, minus the week after tightening), and since they're on the bottom, no one will notice them..

And they wont effect your singing, you won't even notice that their on..Health Question & Answer

Metal braces for sure, first of all, invisalign is extremely expensive and does not have as well changes, braces work better and personally, they're much faster! Nobody even looks that bad with braces, so i say, those.. And also, invisalign is creepy because nobody can see them, so it's weird when your teeth starts changing.. Bleck! Hope this helps =)Health Question & Answer

Invisalign and Metal braces work at the same pace, so "faster the better" is not true.. It's really up to you, but if you play any instruments I'd go for braces just because you have to wear Invisalign EVERYDAY and all day.. And it may feel weird while playing..Health Question & Answer

I have metal braces on both the bottom and top of my teeth and nobodys ever said anything about them to me.. I think it would be easier to get the metal ones and with them been on the bottom people will hardly recognise them anyway..Health Question & Answer

actually it really depends what your look like, some girls look really cute with braces in my opion, others not soo good..

if your one of those people who looks good in braces then get the metal, if you look bad with them get the invisline..Health Question & Answer

singer.? invisalign is totally worth it.. Won't look like a mouth of metal when you are on stage...... Who cares about it taking a few extra months and having to take them out...... better than cut lips and a swollen face..Health Question & Answer

Actually braces can also be clear, with just a single metal band that wraps around like all braces..I would ask about the clear braces, there less noticeable..Health Question & Answer

Metal braces are quicker and work better.. Check out the In-Ovation-C braces, they're clear, if that is an issue..Health Question & Answer

I think metal because if you just are getting them on the bottom, most people won't even notice them..Health Question & Answer

I'd get metal.. I have metal and it helps alot.. Invisalign is more money and it doesnt work as good.. Id stick with metal..Health Question & Answer

metal braces......the quicker the better

plus you dont have to worry about loosing them when you take them out to eatHealth Question & Answer

just get metal braces...... the faster, the betterHealth Question & Answer

If you only have minor problems, DEFINITELY get invisalign! I am also into music (thats my major in college currently) and I do alot of singing.. After adjusting to the aligners (takes about a week) you can sing with them in --no problem.. The very first week I had my first tray in, I had a little bit of a lisp lol, it wasnt that bad at all....But it was a little hard to sing....So I would always take out my trays before I would sing, and then pop them back in when I was done!

I love my invisalign, nobody ever knows im wearing them....Until Im about to eat and I have to go to the bathroom to remove them haha.. Everytime you get a new tray (every 6-8 weeks), your teeth will feel a little sore for about 1-3 days, but it isn't that bad......Your teeth have to adjust to the new trays (you would feel the same pain if you had metal braces and had to get them tightened)....And honestly, Id be a little concerned if I didn't feel anything lol.. Invisaligns are also good because there isnt any metal....so no tearing up your gums like with metal braces! The only thing they do with Invisalign is they glue little white "buttons" on your back teeth....This helps the trays stay in place so that they do not fall out easily..

The only thing with getting Invisalign is you have to be very committed.. You cant skip on wearing them....And if you dont wear them, they wont work.... And the less time that you wear them....The longer it will take to work!....Thats why some people will say that it takes longer!....The person that they heard this from obviously did not wear their trays long enough every day (22-23 hours per day)!

OH! And another thing I LOVE about Invisalign....Ive lost like 6 pounds! lol.. All that in-between snacking you do......Well I dont do that anymore! haha.. You cant eat with them in (or you will stain them)....And I dont feel like taking them out to snack or whatever in between meals....So I dont do that anymore! Its awesome! lol
