I had my braces taken off quite a while ago, and I haven't worn my retainer to the fullest extent that I should have.. Now that I am away from my retainer, my two bottom front teeth has shifted forward.. It is clear that the retainer is needed more than ever, but how long will it take until they are straight again.?Health Question & Answer

Regarding time taken for shifting............there are so many individual variations that it is very difficult to reply to this question.. i would just wear ur retainer again.. if u do then ur teeth will be gently pushed back 2 their position since the retainer has the bar 2 hold ur teeth..Health Question & Answer

they may not move back.. u can get metal things on the back of your teeth that are like there forever like permanent retainers..Health Question & Answer
