Canker sore - Acid foods?!

Question: Canker sore - Acid foods.?

I have a canker sore, and it's at the back of my mouth right beside my teeth so I can't really put salt on it.. i have been gargling salt water though..
But my question is, I know you're not supposed to eat acid foods..

Here's a list off the top of my head of citrus items to avoid:

-Pineapple
-Tomatoes
-Lemons/limes
-Oranges
-Grapefruit
