Is it ok to kiss someone when you just got your wisdom teeth out?!

i think a peck on the lips is ok, but when there is a gaping hole in the back of your mouth that has not healed yet, it is best to say away from deep kissing.. this will introduce all kinds of bacteria into your system causing you to get sick or even infect your healing mouth wound..Health Question & Answer

i think i'd like to know what your definition of 'just' is

do you mean this morning or do you mean a week ago.?

to me, here are the risks
* infection is a real serious possibility when you get your wisdom teeth out, especially depending on the size of the site where they were taken out
* your meaning of 'kiss'.. if you are necking and sucking and all that stuff (lol) that's not good for the healing process of the 'holes', if you mean a peck on the lips or cheek that's a totally different thing
* i can't imagine your partner wants to lock lips when you just got it done either, sometimes it will taste weird as there is still bleeding etc etc

if you are needing more specifici info, i'd call the doc who removed them for you

Ideally, yes, it should not be done for 3-4 days..............I trust you are referring to Mouth-to-mouth kissing.. But, if one has done it, one should just feel relaxed................and immediately afterwards use Betadine gargles for sort of antisepsis..

It is not okay for the person who has undergone surgery nor it is okay for the other person as the mouth he/she is kissing is full of all sorts of secretions.. Apart from medical reasons, dont you feel it to be a big turn off at least for a couple of days.?....

However, it is felt that kissing which involves just touching of lips, it should be just OK for a couple of days after wisdom tooth surgery..
