How much do braces hurt =-(?!

I got braces about two weeks ago and the first week they hurt and I could only eat REALLY soft foots like soup and mashed potatoes.. Eating hurt pretty bad.. And when I wasn't eating they felt sore but it wasn't so bad that I cried or anything.. Take Tylenol and it will help the pain.. After a week they won't hurt anymore and it takes sometime to get used to the brackets pressing on your lip.. But now I don't feel them as much as before.. And I heard they hurt after getting a new wire on them but I haven't had that done yet..Health Question & Answer

They hurt but not to where you cant tolerate the pain.. It doesnt hurt when they put them on but later that day or that night you'll start to feel the pain and you'll feel it for about 3 days.. After that you'll be ok.. When they tighten them each month but not as much as the first time.. Then towards the end it doesnt even hurt when they tighten them.. What you feel is soreness.. You will feel it through the first week and then you will eventually get used to them.. Its not a pain you will not be able to tolerate.. Everybody that gets braces o through it as I did.. But what I would do is eat a good meal before getting them tight every month..??Health Question & Answer

well it doesn't hurt SOOO much but you are going to have problems like in the first week..
It hurts when they fix it like when they tighten it up .... yeah it hurts like CRAZY !!! but when they put it on .... nah it doesn't hurt..Health Question & Answer
