Question: I lost my bottom retainer for over a year and half.? what should i do.?

Alright, i had braces two years ago.. Once i got them off a got a retainers for top and bottom but they glued the metal wire to the bottom (so i didn't need to use the bottom retainers..) Well, wire fell off.. And i never had the time to schedule an appointment.. Then, i lost the lower retainer a couple months later.. What should i do.?

I still have the top retainer.. (it kinda fits)

my bottom teeth have moved, kind of significantly, but not nearly as bad as they use to be..

i don't want to be 20 and still have braces..

Is there any way i can just have braces on the bottom.?

how much is it going to cost.?

Any alternatives to braces, besides not getting anything.?Health Question & Answer

Well, if I were you I would definately use your upper retainer and as long as you are happy with what they look like on the top, then its fine.. More likely then not, your orthodontist will have to put braces back on to fix your lower teeth.. Yes you can get them on just the bottom.. And dont worry, you can barely see them! I have braces on the bottom and no one can even tell unless i tell them~and im 21! So I would definately just get braces again it will be quicker and less expenisve than Invisilign.. ( Trust me Invisilign is not what it is cracked up to be).. I hoped that helped!Health Question & Answer
