so yeah.. pizza just out of microwave now the roof of my mouth looks blistered and i can feel skin hanging down on my tongue.. anything I can do to make it better.?.?Health Question & Answer

Just gargle with cold water, but don't worsen things by hurting your teeth.. Peroxide is not allowed in the mouth, salt will hurt, sugar will aid in the growth of bacteria and has no medicinal properties whatever.. No bandaid either, were you joking, you'd choke on it..

The only thing you can do is pick it off and wait for it to heal.. That has got to be one of the most annoying things EVER.. Ruins your whole day.. It'll heal up in a day or two, though..
And gargling with salt water or mouthwash before bed isn't such a bad idea.. Just to head off infections ( unlikely)..
Sugar actually impedes bacterial growth, just FYI :).. Honey is great on wounds, but it won't stay..Health Question & Answer

You can rince well with cool ice water, as improves suck on the ice.. Another day or so warm salt water rince and spit, .. , as for skin hanging down ,if dead it may need trimmed away.. Im not sure you can do yourself so need help for that.. *mamatHealth Question & Answer
go to the drug store and find the dental asile, they have things for mouth burns........one is called Rincinol, a anesthetic mouth rinse, and the other is Orabase, an bandaid for your mouth (protects the area)

i burnt the roof of my mouth a couple months ago pretty badly but not as bad as yours but you should pull the skin off.. Dont eat anything salty , spicy, or hard.. I burnt my mouth with pizza too.. hahaHealth Question & Answer
