Question: Have you had your wisdom teeth removed.?
How long does it take.? Does it hurt bad.? I heard it hurt like hell......I asked this before but the fools at Y!A deleted it for some reason.. I just like to know what I'm in for because I'm getting mine removed, thanks..Health Question & Answer

Yes, Im 18 and had mine removed 9 days ago......The surgery took 30 minutes....I was given laughing gas, and let me tell you I wasnt laughing at all....Got home, my tongue, mouth, gums and cheeks were all knumb and I couldnt feel anything....It hut for the first day or two, second day I took some pills and the pain slowly went away....but during this period make to to take care of your mouth as you do not want to have an infection....remember this is surgery, having open wounds in your mouth is no joke, it is irritating and it hurts, good luckHealth Question & Answer
Hey I just got mine removed the other day! And I'm totally fine and working now.. As long as you go to a reputable dental specialist, it will NOT hurt like hell......It's feel uncomfortable......or like a slight bruise afterwards, like hitting your hip on the side of the table but that's it! Nothing to worry about.. I used to be in your position last week hehe..............the only time that it will probably hurt is if the area swells......and that is mainly due to an infection--meaning the dentist was not very good..

I had all four of mine removed, I was put to sleep.. I then left and I was hungry.. I ate fried chicken and it didn't really bother me.. It was a little hard to chew.. By the end of the day when the medication was wearing off, I started to get a little sore.. I took a pain pill and I was okay.. You'll be sore and you're supposed to eat soft foods.. I had all four removed at once, so they put me under.. It was fine during the procedure.. When the meds wear off, it hurts pretty bad, but they give you pain meds.. I had mine all taken out when I was 17 and it barely hurt at all.. I was put under for the procedure so I wasn't awak when they did it.. But even after, I had a little tingling, but no real pain to speak of.. In fact, I went to work that same night as I got them pulled..

Yeah, Took around 30 minutes for the procedure but I was alseep the whole time.. It was sore for a couple days and I could only eat liquids so I wouldnt get wounds infected..

I had all 4 of mine out at the same time.. Had surgery on a Friday and was bck to work on Monday and was eating normal food.. But i did take all the pain rx! which is prob why i didnt feel any pain the whole weekend!! so that's my advise, take all the vicodin!Health Question & Answer
Yes, had them removed.. Does hurt.. It will make you sick for about a week.. But they give you wonderful drugs.. Don't fret, all will be well..Health Question & Answer
