I'm getting braces on Saturday, and I know they have to make a mold of your teeth.... or so I was told.. How bad is this.? My mom had braces and she remembers that's the only part she hated.. Experiences.?Health Question & Answer

and the taste is disgusting!
and make sure you wash out your mouth before and breathe through your nose!

well at my ortho we have dofferent flavors for the mold thing and its not bad at all the wax they have has no taste and u get the mold before braces u dont get it the same day this is the thing i had to do i have spacers on right now

Its disgusting..And they press it on your teeth hard too..
Molding is deff not the only part you will hate with braces on..
If you move your teeth,the mold wont come out good and they have to do it over and over and over..Health Question & Answer

It gags you, pretty bad, then afterwards you will find little pieces of wax in your teeth.. But it only last a few minutes, it will be out before you know it.. Goodluck! :)Health Question & Answer
