what all do they do the 2nd appointment..i've already had a consultation..i've heard the second appointment they do molds,but what else..how bad is it..Health Question & Answer

easy just got mine done yesterday all u do is get a x ray then get 4 molds and get another x ray then pictures then u have to bite down on sum wax after all that u get an appointment for ur braces i get mine august 12Health Question & Answer
They took pictures, and just did the molds, and I was out, I didn't need spacers, since I already had dividers in :] The molds don't even hurt, it's like this white pastey thing that turns in foamy stuff, like mousse, and it has the texture of gum when it's ready to be molded.. NO PAIN AT ALL :D
They are starting to get a little sore now, I just got them yesterday, very hard to eat to.. I've had no problem eating pudding though :]

omg, i have had braces twice, and impressions like 4 times, they have to do some twice! any who, i puke every time, but i don't mean to scare you.. it is just that i always freak out and try to breathe through my mouth, when you obviously can't do that because your mouth is full of gooey stuff.. It is really not that bad if remember to breathe through your mouth.. honestly the part i hated about braces the most is spacers, I only had to have mine for two days, but they hurt like no other.. just make sure you eat nothing but very soft food.. mashed potatoes, soup, noodles, that kind of stuff!!

It's easy and doesn't hurt at all.. They do a lot of xrays and pictures.. Like I said with another person who asked a similar question, my orthodontist took a 360 degree picture around my teeth which was later converted into a 360 degree computer model.. It's actually kind of fun to be honest.. =D
Oh- one more thing with the molds.. It will feel like you have silly putty in your mouth that your teeth are pressing down on.. It drys quickly and it shouldn't bother you at all.. I didn't gag or throw up or anything, just keep your tongue away from where the goo is.. :)

i have my braces on now so i know this......
they make a model of your mouth, which is not NEARLY as bad as people say it it..
also they do do x-rays and trust me, its weird......
they might put your spacers in too

The mold is like a giant piece of gum on your teeth that doesn't move.. It doesn't hurt at all.. But it does leave a wierd taste in your mouth for like ten to twenty minutes..Health Question & Answer
