Im getting braces next week to fix an underbite, has anyone had success with this?!

Question: Im getting braces next week to fix an underbite, has anyone had success with this.?
Answers:
Yes I had braces and had and under bite and fixed it.. I now have perfectly straight teeth and no under bite, but the only thing is it takes time.. I had my braces for about 2 years, but it also depends on how bad the under bite is.. It will take time but it is totally worth it!!!Health Question & Answer

I'm going throught that right now, too, except for I have an overbite.. They use elastics to fix your underbite, so you probably will have braces for a while before they give you the elastics.. Obviously, since I'm doing that right now I haven't had success yet, but I have friends who have!Health Question & Answer

yup I had an overbite and they fixed mine just right
all they are going to do next week is clean your teeth and then dry them and place glue on your teeth then apply the bracets the the wire and then the color you want mine only took 30 min to do this and it doesn't hurt just about a hour later your teeth will be tender for a coulpe of days and I advise you to get something to eat before you go thereHealth Question & Answer

Yup it works.. I'm about to take mine off..
I had really bad teeth.. Buck tooth like rabbit.. Crowded teeth.. And that some of my teeth didn't grow our properly, for example I had one teeth in front of another.. Now I have almost straight teeth..Health Question & Answer

Braces may not fix the under bite.. I had a something in my mouth called a Herbst device for an over bite.. I got if off yesterday, and My bite is perfect! :]Health Question & Answer
