this is serious so dont make a joke out of it: when i use a toothpick, and get the plaque off my teeth, is it bad if you eat it.? i like to eat it off the toothpick.. can anything harmful come from this.?Health Question & Answer

I do the same thing.. I feel like its chalk or something.. But its not bad.. And since I am a dental assistant I love to see when the doctor cleans the teeth and big chunks of plaque comes out.. I like to see that there is actually a tooth under it.. LOL....

no it is not weird.. it is common among alot of people doing that.. i do that as a matter of fact.. its loosening the plaque on your gums and then if you swallow it, it will be dissolved into your stomach and so on.. so its kinda a win win situation.. cuz its helps your teeth and kinda helps hunger.. hahaha..Health Question & Answer
