i got my braces like 2 weeks ago and you get your spcaers the week before and if your teeth are really tight my might hurt a little but my didn't but take tyenol if they do then the next week if they havent moved yet you keep them and get the braces and yes most people get spacers befroe braces and if they fall out call your orthodontist and set an appt hope tihs helps p..s i am 11Health Question & Answer

not everyone needs them but most do to clear space for the back brace holdrs.. spacers dont hurt AT ALL and are just weird feeling and theyh only stay in for 4 weeks AT THE MOST!Health Question & Answer
