How much do you typically pay to have your teeth cleaned?!


Question: How much do you typically pay to have your teeth cleaned.?
What do you usually pay to get your teeth cleaned and have the dentist check for cavities.? I am trying to figure out what a good price would be.. I called a dentist that said they were having a new customer sale of 79..99 for teeth cleaning, consultation(where the dentist tells you if you have cavities......I think), and x-rays.. Is that a good price.?
Please let me know what you pay and where you live (since different parts of the country tend to charge differently)..

That is a very reasonable price.. Some offices charge up to $200 for exam, cleaning, and xrays..

I charge $90 for patients that don't have any help from insurance..Health Question & Answer
If you live in an area with a dental school, you could try and see if they are taking patients.. The work will be done by a student, but usually its very low cost or even free.. But as for the price you got for a cleaning and x-rays, I don't think that's a bad price at all.. Let's just hope you don't need fillings or anything, because that's where more expenses are incurred..Health Question & Answer
Depends if you have benefits/insurance......so none of us will really be able to answer that.. Most dentist have their own rates..
