What can I eat? Got my wisdom teeth removed?!

Question: What can I eat.? Got my wisdom teeth removed.?
I got my wisdom teeth removed July 9th.. I didn't drink nor eat all day because it hurt to swallow even my own spit.. I kept my gauze in until this afternoon at 4 (changing them at every 30 mins interval).. I drank water successfully and had a small meal of applesauce.. What else can I eat.? My doctor didn't tell me what I could eat.. The little brochure he gave me only says stuff like ice cram and yogurt.. Can I have anything that can fill me up.?

also, when do I go in to get my stitches removed.? Or do I just keep them in forever.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
You don't need to bite on a gauze anymore.. The gauze was placed to help stop the bleeding after the extraction.. It's been a day, and a little blood is okay..

Your sutures will fall out in a couple of days.. It's basically a piece of thread holding the tissue over the socket..

As far as foods, you should try PROTEIN shakes.. Protein will help make you feel full..

Mashed potatoes
KFC mac n cheese
Sofe pasta
CAMPBELL SOUP AT HAND, it's drinkable soup
Rice pilaf
Stuffing

Make sure to rinse after each meal, food can get stuck in the socket..Health Question & Answer

Try mashed potatoes.. When I got my wisdom teeth pulled that seemed to fill me up..

also, you should have a follow up appointment a week from when you got them pulled and they will take the stitches out then or sometimes 4-5 days after the surgery they will actually fall out.. My stitches wound up falling out which the doctor said was no big deal..Health Question & Answer
