Should your tooth feel sore after a filling ?!

Question: Should your tooth feel sore after a filling .?
Answers:
Heya

It is common to have some pain after tooth filling, but if it lasts anymore than a few days ( i would say over a week) It could be due to an infection which is still present inside the exposed nerve ending.. If the cavity was deep then the filling may be pressing on the nerve causing the pain.. Please take some painkillers and ibuprofen, and if the pain and soreness dont go away after a week may i suggest ringing your dentist in order for you to get an appoitment and access you but at this present time it is normal to feel soreness after having a tooth filling..
Hope i helped

NO, NORMALLY THESE SHOULD NOT AND GENERALLY THESE DONT FEEL SORE AFTER A FILLING.......... if yours' hurt, i am afraid there is problem somewhere or the other..........may be tooth is not ok or fillling is not ok.. But I would suggest you that you can take any pain-killer tablet for a day or so........and then, if needed, approach your dentist..
