Question: What foods can i not eat with braces.?
well i get braces the 25th of this month..neways what's the whole procedure of putting them on..and what all foods can't eat and what should i eat right afterwardsHealth Question & Answer

Answers:
The whole procedure doesn't hurt they just cement the brackets on and feed a wire through them..

Popcorn, it gets stuck in between the brackets..

Carmel it is too sticky and way too hard.. Your ortho will tell you what you can't have..

I couldn't eat apples unless they were cut up, sandwiches too.. they got stuck in braces and looked gross..

not supposed to have gum, but it never did anything to me..

After you get them, eat something soft.. Your teeth/gums will be sore..Health Question & Answer

The whole putting them on isnt bad you dont even feel it just afterwards it feels really wierd and my advice to you would be to eat right after because later in the day they will hurt and you wont be able to eat.. You cant eat hard or sticky foods because you'll loosen a bracket or make your wire pop out or something but after you get use to your braces eating anything becomes easierHealth Question & Answer

The only thing they say you can't eat is popcorn and you can't chew gum.. After you get them put on your teeth will probably be sore so you might wanna just eat pudding, milkshakes, mashed potatos, and stuff like that.. But if you feel up to it you can eat anything you want..Health Question & Answer

chewing gum, strawberries and toffee-like foods that will stick to your teeth..

if i were you i wouldn't eat chocolate, ice-cream, cakes, etc.. because of your increased risks of decay while your braces are on.. there are sugar-free versions of some foods that are just as good..Health Question & Answer
