What is the best way to clean orthodontic retainers?!

Question: What is the best way to clean orthodontic retainers.?

Besides brushing them...... whenever i brush them, no matter how much i scrub them, i cant get all teh plaque off.. I was wondering if there is something i can soak them in after brushing them to get the remaining plaque off.. I've tried mouthwash, and that worked pretty well, but I was wondering if there is something better than just plain old mouthwash.?.?.?Health Question & Answer

buy the stuff old people soak their dentures in, i find that works quite well and is safe for the retainers.. you shouldnt use mouthwash because it contains alcohol and can corrode your retainers..Health Question & Answer
