i am getting braces but i need to go to a oral surgeon to remove one of my teeth that hasnt come out yet - it needs to be operated on in the hospital has anyone done something like that...... if so can you tell me what happens.?!!!Health Question & Answer

I had the exact same problem..
I got 3 teeth pulled, and then I had holes cut in the roof of my mouth to let other teeth come in..
As long as you have novicane during the operation......all you feel is maybe a tickle, and no pain....
But after the surgery....it definitely hurts..
You may get pain killers to help dull the pain, but after....just try to eat soft foods, and nothing to harsh..
also it helps to rinse with warm salt water.. It will help dull the pain, and also heal the gum tissue..

its no big deal i had it done they removed four of my teeth though ok what they do is they put you up in a heart rate moniter for safty during the surgery then they have an IV in you so you dont get dehydrated since you cannot eat before it.. then it feels like out only out for 15 min its not a big deal at all as long as you do what they tell you you will be ok
