Well, for me, they asked me first.. When I said I wasn't sure, they showed me a color wheel, and I chose a color.. I was so excited to get braces and to choose the perfect color for them, but the second time around, I really didn't care.. You'll see, it's not that big of a deal.. For summer, I would suggest getting all pink.. Or maybe hot pink and orange.. I had hot pink and orange before and it looked fine.. I like the colors you chose too.. Lime and teal would also work.. i would suggest going to this website to choose the colors.. It might be helpful..

Don't worry.. They give you a list and you can pick from it.. They actually give you that list most of the times you come in to change them.. Sometimes when they tighten them you are also allowed to change the colors up.. If they say you can only choose one color, ask about multiple colors and I'm sure you'll be able to mix and match.. at my orthodonist they had a color chart with the actual braces pieces on a paper with the color under it.. they gave it to me to look at while they working on my wires and i just told them what i wanted.. i'm not sure if all places are like that, but if you ask for something they don't have they'll just tell you..Health Question & Answer
Good luck with the braces! I had mine for 6 years! My ortho had a big key ring with each color they had on a little card.. You usually pick up to 3 colors and can ask for a specific design and whatnot.. Braces really suck while you have them on, but when you get them off, its soo soo much better.. yup, they give you a card or a ring full of colors.. and ya, I wouldn't get white either because when you eat greasy foods, they get stained yellow and it makes your teeth look really gross.. Some people don't like green either bc it looks like food, lol, but I never thought so..
